This drama is SO funny! Drama wiki says 'Loosely based on a 2001 South Korean film Doosabu Ilchae starring Jung Joon Ho. This drama uses the international title of the said film. The Korean title refers to a saying: "The boss, the teacher and the father are one". Doosabu Ilche spawned a 2006 sequel: Twosabu Ilchae (known as My Boss, My Teacher overseas).'. I read comments from people that they loved this version so much more than the korean film. So much funnier too, IMO.

I only gave the acting an 8 because Nagase Tomoya doesnt do anything new by acting mob like or have exaggerated expressions (like his character in Mukodono and Mukodono 2003). BUT he does a good job of getting laughs! He actually pulls it off as having a crush on a VERY young girl. Fine, he doesnt pass off as a high school student but that is what is funny! They keep joking about his looks in the drama such as how he has so much body and facial hair for a high school student!

I think the other actors and actresses did a good job in acting. They all helped in making Nagase Tomoya's character funnier. I especially LOVED how Tanaka Koki acted as his side kick henchman-- he kept wanting to beat up all the people who would talk to his 'boss' or treat his 'boss' a certain way.

The music is good of course because I am a fan of the opening and ending songs Nagase Tomoya's band (TOKIO) sing.

If you are looking for a light drama with a lot of laughs, watch this cute comedy. I think you wont be disappointed. Just be ready for Nagase Tomoya's slapstickness -- just keep in mind his character is so DUMB that he cant even add 5 +5 + 5 and it will all be OK! Hahahaha! :-D
