The drama’s main theme are the problems between a daughter in law and a mother in law. The story revolves around Takahira Tomoko, a housewife who is given a hard time by her mother in law and Shino, who is the worst mother in law anyone could ever have.
Tomoko married Kaname right after graduating from junior college. After years of saving up and economizing, the couple finally buys their own house. One day Shino, who lives with Kaname’s elder brother’s family in Osaka, visits them. Tomoko is told that Shino will only be staying for a week at the longest, so she does her best to look after her. However, Tomoko soon becomes wary of Shino, who starts to make herself a little too comfortable. Few days later, they receive a huge box addressed to Shino… --TBS
